JAMB Schedules Date for 2025 Mop-up Examination

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the date for the 2025 JAMB UTME Mop-up examination.

This examination will provide another opportunity for spill-over candidates, absentees, and those who failed biometric verification during the main UTME exercise to participate in the admission process.

JAMB Mop-up Examination Date

JAMB has fixed Saturday, 28th June 2025 as the official date for the Mop-up examination.

In total, 96,838 candidates have been rescheduled for the Mop-up exercise. These include those who missed the main UTME or resit, as well as those affected by technical or biometric issues.

In addition, the board has approved 183 centres nationwide for the Mop-up examination. Meanwhile, placing other candidates on standby and will provide further instructions if the need arises.

Candidates Eligible for the JAMB Mop-up Examination

The 2025 JAMB Mop-up examination will cover the following categories of candidates:

(i) A total of 5,096 spill-over candidates, including those who failed biometric verification during the main UTME.

(ii) A total of 91,742 absentee candidates from both the main and resit examinations.

Moreover, JAMB has granted a special dispensation to ensure no eligible candidate is left out. This arrangement allows those who missed either the main or resit examination to take part in this final opportunity, which applies only to the 2025 UTME.

As a result, 96,838 candidates have been rescheduled for the Mop-up exam across the approved centres. Others will remain on standby, pending any further updates from the board.

JAMB Mop-up Reprinting Date

JAMB has announced that the reprinting of the Mop-up notification slip will begin on Monday, 23rd June 2025.

Candidates should visit the official portal promptly to reprint their slips and confirm their examination details.

The slip will contain essential information such as the examination date, time, and venue. Candidates are required to review their slips carefully and comply with all instructions to avoid any delay on the exam day.
