JAMB Bans the use of NABTEB A’level GCE Results for Direct Entry Admission

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examinations have announced that the National Business and Technical Education Board (NABTEB) A’level GCE results will no longer be accepted as a requirement for direct entry admission into tertiary institutions.

JAMB’s registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede made the disclosure during the 2022 policy meeting which was held at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

The Minister of Education has approved that the NABTEB A’Level GCE will no longer be recognized as a qualification for Direct Entry from 2022.

However, all those who have already obtained it prior to this date will be able to use it.
