The National Examinations Council (NECO) management has released the timetable for the 2023 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for External candidates.
The NECO 2023 timetable is the most valuable asset for all the candidates preparing for the November/December SSCE External. It allows candidates to know exactly when a specific subject is scheduled.
NECO GCE Exam Date
According to the NECO 2023 Timetable, the examination has been scheduled to take off from Monday, 20th November to Wednesday, 20th December 2023.

Important Note
1. Candidates should confirm the specific Venues for Oral French, Arabic and Stenography I & IV from NECO State Office where they are sitting for the examination.
2. The Nigerian languages, i.e. Hausa. Igbo and Yoruba include the Literature aspect.
3. BLIND CANDIDATES are to sit for the examination in their respective NECO State Offices and make use of the supplied Braille Sheets
4. The ALBINOS AND BLIND CANDIDATES are to be given 30 minutes extra time across all papers.
5. Use of Scientific Calculator is allowed.
6. BRINGING INTO THE EXAMINATION HALL ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION GADGETS (PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATORS, MOBILE PHONES, IPADS, TABLETS, SMART WRIST WATCHES/ GLASSES/ PENS ETC) IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
7. For Technical Drawing I and IV, candidates should come with their drawing instruments and materials.
8. CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT SIT FOR PRACTICAL (PAPER 1 & IV) WILL NOT HAVE RESULTS IN THE SUBJECT.
